With only a week left until Halloween is back for another year, Strawberry Farm, in Upminster, has come up with a fun way to keep your children occupied this half term break, with the chance for them to visit the pumpkin patch.

Rather than the usual trick or treating, watching scary films and dressing up in spooky costumes, the farm, which is located only a mile from Upminster Station, is offering families the chance to pick their own fresh vegetables from the pumpkin trailer.

Whether you plan to carve out your squash plant and keep it as a decoration around your house or just want to turn it into a tasty bowl of pumpkin soup, there is no better way to find organic and healthy produce than picking it yourself on a farm’s pumpkin patch.
