A PEDESTRIAN has been hospitalised with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car.
The man, in his 30s, was taken to an east London hospital after he was hit by a car in Burford Road, just off Stratford High Street.
Police confirmed his injuries were 'life-threatening' after they were called to to the incident just after 2pm today (October 24).
Road closures remain in place while investigations are carried out by the police.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
Traffic is very slow in the area with diversions to the 25, 108, 276, 339, 425 and D8 bus routes in place.
