Here is everything you need to know this Wednesday morning (October 26).

Weather

Today will be another cloudy day with temperatures rising to 15°C from the current 11°C. Sunny spells are expected between midday and late afternoon.

A weather warning is in place across London and much of the south for fog, which could be dense in places. The Met Office warned the fog could make travelling difficult. The warning will be lifted at 10am, although some patches are expected to linger for the rest of the morning.

Tube

7.22am: There are minor delays on the Piccadilly Line eastbound between Acton Town and Cockfosters because of a signal failure at Holborn.

There is currently a good service on all other Tube, Overground and TfL Rail services in the area.

Travel

7.29am: One lane is closed and traffic is queuing on the M25 anticlockwise before junction 26 in Waltham Abbey after a crash. Congestion is affecting traffic to junction 27 for the M11.

Traffic is queuing on the southbound A406 North Circular between South Woodford and Redbridge Roundabout. There are also long delays westbound on the A406 from the Bounds Green Road junction, because of a burst water main.

On the A12, traffic is queuing into Gants Hill between the Beehive Lane junction and Redbridge Roundabout.
