Photos have been released of seven men police would like to speak to, following clashes after West Ham’s game against Middlesbrough earlier this month.

Officers from the Met’s Public Order Command issued the images today (Wednesday, October 26), after incidents outside the London Stadium in Stratford after the Premier League tie on October 1.

Four people have since been arrested in connection with the crowd trouble seen at the stadium, which was widely circulated on social media following the match.

Superintendent Jonathan Williams said: "The vast majority of football fans attending matches across London do so in the right spirit to enjoy the game and return home without incident.

"Sadly, there is a very small minority that occasionally engages in disorder and where that happens, we will do our utmost to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.

"I would ask anyone who recognises any of these men, or knows who was involved in the disorder following the West Ham vs Middlesbrough game to get in touch with us, as this kind of behaviour has absolutely no place at football matches."

There have been several violent incidents have marred the start of the Hammers’ first season at their new 60,000-seat home.

The club warned they would hand out lifetime bans to any supporters found to have been involved in brawls during a Premier League match against Watford on September 10.

Fans fought among themselves, with stewards and away supporters in the closing stages of the game as West Ham slumped to a 4-2 loss.
