A knife and a quantity of drugs were seized during a random stop and search by two police officers.
The incident took place on Stewart Road in Leyton at 10.40pm on Tuesday, October 25.
The two police officers, from Waltham Forest Police, were assaulted during the search but their injuries are not serious.
