Two men have been interviewed under caution after an incident at City Airport where passengers were exposed to a “noxious substance”.
The two suspects, aged 32 and 47, were interviewed over the possession of pepper spray. No arrests were made.
No further action will be taken against a 25-year-old man, who was arrested on Saturday, October 22 in connection with the incident and later bailed.
Around 500 people were evacuated from the airport following the incident on Friday (October 21), with some passengers and staff given treatment for breathing problems.
Two people were taken to hospital during the alert and 25 others were treated at the scene.
The airport's closure saw suspensions to all flights, with several incoming flights diverted to other airports.
Police are not treating the incident as terror-related. Enquiries continue.
