A TEENAGER was arrested after he failed to stop for police and crashed into a car.
Police officers tried to stop a car they believed to be stolen at around 3.17pm in Woodford Green yesterday (November 22).
After the driver failed to stop, police chased him until he crashed into an empty parked car on St Barnabas Road.
The 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and taking a vehicle without consent.
He is still in custody at an east London police station while officers investigate.
There were no reported injuries.
St Barnabas Road was closed for around an hour and a half while police dealt with the driver.
