It’s Friday! And there’s winter sunshine to look forward to this morning (November 25).

But what are the roads and rail network looking like?

Here’s all you need to know for the day ahead.

7.20am

Weather

It’s going to be an unusually sunny day in east London this morning.

There will be sunshine all day, but don’t forget to wrap up warm, as temperatures will only reach 10 degrees.

Tube

There is no service on the Piccadilly Line between Acton Town and Uxbridge because of a “shortage of trains”. Commuters travelling between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge should use the Metropolitan Line. Tickets will be accepted on Chiltern Railways, Great Western, Southern, London Overground, and London Midland services, as well as local buses.

Expect severe delays on the rest of the line.

There are severe delays on the District Line between Earls Court and Richmond and Ealing Broadway due to a signalling problem in Upminster Depot.

GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.

Traffic

There are delays on the A406 North Circular southbound between the Barking Flyover and Beckton Roundabout.

There are also queues on the A12 between Beehive Lane in Gants Hill and Redbridge Roundabout.

Expect jams on the A13 into London between Marsh Way and Renwick Road.

There are temporary traffic lights as a result of water mains work on the A124 Barking Road at the B116 Balaam Street junction. Works are expected to last until 6pm on December 12.

There is the usual heavy traffic on the M11 southbound between Junction 5 at Loughton and Junction 4 at South Woodford.

In north London there is queueing traffic on the A10 southbound in Enfield at the junction with Carterhatch Lane, because of roadworks.
