Staff at Walthamstow Central station were threatened by a man carrying a knife, police say.
An incident took place at around 2pm on Wednesday (November 22), when a man reportedly approached staff at the station with a knife.
Later that day, staff at Bond Street station were also threatened by a man with a knife. Officers investigating the case believe the two incidents are linked.
Police have now issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to trace in connection with the investigation.
PC Noel Delpuech-Deasy, of the British Transport Police, said: “These are particularly concerning incidents and we are working tirelessly to trace man responsible.
“Threatening, attacking or intimidating anyone who uses the railway, including members of staff is inexcusable and we will not tolerate it.
“I would urge anyone who has any information to contact us as soon as possible.”
