A woman suffered serious injuries after a metal barrier was knocked over during an argument and she became “entangled” with it.

Essex Police is appealing for information after the incident in the High Road, Loughton, shortly before 1.30am on Sunday November 20.

Police officers were called to an “altercation” involving a group of men.

A metal barrier was knocked over and police said the 20-year-old woman became entangled in it, suffering serious injuries to her lower body.

She went to hospital but has since been released.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened.
