Fire crews took more than two hours tackle a blaze that broke out in a high street shop.
Firefighters were called to a store in High Street South, East Ham, at around 3.25am this morning (Friday, December 9).
Six fire engines and 35 firefighters in total attended the incident, in which part of the ground floor of the building was damaged.
Fire crews, from East Ham, Plaistow, Barking, Stratford and Ilford stations, were able to bring the blaze under control by 5.53am.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
