TWO men have been jailed after they burgled 26 homes in less than a month.

Nathan Dale, of Melford Road, East Ham, and Jordan McKenzie-Pryce, of Leverson Street, Streatham, admitted conspiracy to commit burglary and handling stolen goods before they were sentenced to eight years today (Friday, December 9).

The 30 and 31-year-olds burgled 26 homes in south east London between August 2 and 25 2015.

The burglars would break into large houses in the area in the middle of the night and steal BMWs, Audis and Porsches while their owners slept.

They changed the number plates to false ones to avoid being caught.

Eventually in April this year detectives caught the pair driving cars with fake number plates and they were arrested after a five-hour siege at Dale’s home.

After searching his flat, police found three stolen motorbike’s at Dale’s home.

DCI Damian Hill of the London Crime Squad said: "Dale and McKenzie-Pryce were prolific burglars, creeping into homes across south-east London while the occupants were asleep to steal expensive and powerful vehicles.

"They caused a great deal of distress and inconvenience to their victims and I am pleased they have been imprisoned."
