A consultation on a plan which could see 11,400 homes built in Epping Forest up to 2033 ends today.
People hoping to have their say on the new Local Plan, a giant blueprint for development in the district, have until 5pm to do so.
The draft plan was first unveiled by Epping Forest District Council in October.
As of last Monday (December 5), the council said it had received 999 replies to the consultation, including 601 responses on their dedicated Local Plan website.
The council had also received 261 emails, 96 letters and 41 paper questionnaires.
The plan has seen opposition from many places in the district, with concerns including the level of suggested housing being too high, the potential loss of green spaces and a perceived lack of new facilities.
The council hopes the Local Plan will be adopted by October 2018, after central government set a deadline of 2017.
