THE HOLIDAYS have arrived for the people of Leyton - along with the Coca-Cola truck of their dreams.
The famous Coca-Cola Christmas truck is filling the Leyton Mills car park with festive cheer today (Wednesday, December 14) with selfie opportunities and free samples a plenty.
People will be able to get their photo taken with the iconic truck between 1pm and 9pm.
After getting their free can of coke, the drinks giant is asking people to post their photos online using the hashtag #holidaysarecoming.
Checkout leader at Asda’s Leyton Mills store Naina Patel said everyone is “very excited”.
She said: “I have worked here for five years and it’s the first time it’s happened.
“Kids see it on the TV and get so excited, so to see it in real life is going to make their Christmases.”
Awareness group Every Can Counts is also on hand to advise people on how best to dispose of their coke cans and raise awareness of recycling.
The truck has been travelling around the UK since November 17 and will make 43 stops before its final destination of Leicester Square on December 20.
