A ROAD was blocked off by police after a motorcyclist died in a crash.
Officers were called to the Studley Drive junction with the A12 at 7.01am today (Tuesday, January 10) to reports of a crash between a car and a motorbike.
Metropolitan Police officers, members of the London Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service arrived at the scene to find the biker "unresponsive".
They were pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
The car involved stopped for police, but the driver has not been arrested.
All lanes of the A12 have now been reopened.
Enquiries continue. Anyone who witnessed the crash should call police on 101.
