A MAN has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man near a Tube station.
Luther Edwards was attacked by several people on July 29 as he left a boxing match in York Hall, Bethnal Green
Suffering a stab wound to his heart, he stumbled to the nearby BP petrol station on Cambridge Heath Road, where he collapsed.
Medics found Luther and took him to an east London hospital but he was pronounced dead shortly before midnight.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the heart.
A 30-year-old man was arrested in Dartford, Kent, on Tuesday (January 17), becoming the ninth person arrested in connection with the attack.
He was arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed.
Detectives are continuing their appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
