STUDENTS in Wanstead are staging an anti-Trump demonstration on George Green to protest his inauguration.
Flyers for the event organised by the Socialist Students group have been handed out around the area this week.
The organisation has groups in over 40 school, college, and university campuses around the country, all fighting for a socialist Britain.
Young people are set to congregate on George Green “after school” tomorrow (Friday, January 20) before heading to the London-wide protest outside the US embassy in central London at 6pm.
The leaflet reads: “Protest his inaugaration.
“No to racism, sexism, and xenophobia.
“Take the wealth off the billionaires and fight for a society for the 99 per cent.”
Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States of America at 5pm GMT on Saturday (January 21).
