A MAN has been charged with four counts of rape after a women was sexually attacked in a park as she made her way home.
The 24-year-old victim was walking through Victoria Park along Grove Road in Hackney just after midnight on Friday (January 13) when a man dragged her into the bushes and raped her.
Derry McCann, 28, of Portland Court, Hackney, was arrested and charged with robbery and four counts of rape on Thursday (January 19).
He has been remanded to appear before Thames Magistrate Court in custody on Friday, 20 January.
