Car catches fire outside Leytonstone children's centre
A CAR burst into flames near a busy high street.
The black Peugeot burst into flames outside Leytonstone Children and Family Centre, in Cathall Road, at around 3pm.
London Ambulance Service were not spotted at the scene, and we are waiting for information on any injuries.
Fire crews and police were at the scene, directing cars around the burnt-out car, which caught fire metres from Leytonstone High Road.
The fire tore through the car
Recovery work was being carried on the road surface, which was partially melted from the blaze.
A tow truck has lifted the car from the road, while police remove road closures around the incident.
