A TEENAGER who yelled references to Adolf Hitler while hurtling balloon canisters at a Jewish man has been jailed.
Patrick Joseph Delany, of Coggesball Road, Braintree, launched his attack on the 31-year-old in Tottenham Hale Retail Park.
The 19-year-old, who was jailed for six months at Wood Green Crown Court on Thursday, shouted anti-semitic abuse while throwing a number of objects at him.
Three other people also reported being subject to similar abuse at around 7.30pm on January 6, and one of the victims called the police with his number plate.
Delany, as well as two other men who were later released, were charged after being caught by police.
DC Warren Ingrey of Haringey CID said: “This was a disgusting, unprovoked verbal attack on members of the public who were targeted because of their religious beliefs and the way they looked.”
