There’s trouble on the Tube and the roads this morning, so here’s everything you need to know to help you battle through that second commute of the week.

Weather

It’s set to be a sunny start to the day in east London, with winter sunshine until around 11am when it will start to cloud over. Temperature highs of 10 degrees, with no rain expected.

Tube

There are minor delays on the Circle Line due to a signal failure at High Street Kensington.

There are minor delays between Barking and Upminster on the District Line due to an earlier signal failure at High Street Kensington.

From Saturday 11 until Sunday February 19 there will be no London Trams service between Wimbledon and Mitcham due to planned engineering works. Replacement bus services will operate. Customers travelling between the Croydon area and Wimbledon may find it easier to use National Rail services.

There is no London Overground Service between Gospel Oak and Barking and no TfL Rail trains between Brentwood and Shenfield due to planned engineering works.

Traffic

One lane blocked and there is queueing traffic for 12 miles due to an accident, seven cars involved on the M25 anticlockwise before J26 A121 (Waltham Abbey), congestion on the M25 to beyond J27 for the M11. Travel time is 60 minutes.

There has been a burst water main on Lea Bridge Road in Leyton at the junction with Orient Way. Expect emergency repairs until 6pm on February 17.

There is queueing traffic due to an earlier broken down car on the A406 North Circular Road Westbound at A1010 (Fore Street Tunnel), congestion on the A406 to the A104 (Waterworks Corner, Woodford Green). Lanes have now reopened.

Expect heavy traffic on the M11 Southbound between J5 A1168 (Loughton) and J4 A406 North Circular (South Woodford).

There are delays on the A12 into town between Beehive Lane and the A406 North Circular Road (Redbridge Roundabout).

There is also slow traffic on the A406 North Circular Road Southbound between M11 (South Woodford) and the A12 (Redbridge Roundabout).

Queueing traffic on the A13 into town between Ferry Lane (Rainham) and Renwick Road.

There are still temporary traffic lights, emergency repairs and a burst water main on the A113 New Wanstead at the High Street / Hermon Hill junction until 6pm today (February 14).

In north London there are temporary traffic lights and water mains work on the A109 Bounds Green Road at Tewkesbury Terrace until February 17.

There are delays on the A406 North Circular Road at Palmers Green.
