A “POPULAR” carer’s dedicated work with the elderly has been recognised with a ‘Heart of Gold’ award.
Senior carer, Frank Pace, won the Heart of Gold Award at a ceremony in Ashbrook Court Care Home, in Chingford, on Tuesday (February 21).
The award recognises Mr Pace’s dedicated work supporting and caring for residents at the care home.
Mr Pace said: “I am honoured and delighted to receive this recognition, but I would like to accept it on behalf of all my colleagues at Ashbrook Court.
“We are a strong team, all committed to improving and making a difference to our residents lives.”
Manager of Ashbrook, Juliette Oates said: “I am really delighted for Frank, he is so popular with residents, relatives and his colleagues.
“Frank has worked at Ashbrook Court since 2013 and is a valued team player. Congratulations Frank, we are all very proud of you.”
Mr Pace was presented with an Emporio Armani watch to commemorate her success by by Alnur Dhanani, Chairman of Carebase.
