One lane of the A406 North Circular was closed for nearly an hour this morning (February 23) after a car and a lorry crashed at Redbridge Roundabout.
TWO DRIVERS managed to escape with “minor injuries” after a car and a lorry crashed on a busy road.
Police were called to the A406 North Circular at the A12 Redbridge Roundabout junction at 7.47am today (Thursday, February 23).
When they arrived they found a lorry and a car had crashed.
A Met Police spokesman said the drivers’ injuries were “believed to be minor” and no arrests were made.
The North Circular westbound lane was closed while emergency services dealt with the accident, but was reopened just before 9am.
Frustrated commuters experienced tailbacks to the Ilford Flyover.
