TWO people have been arrested in connection with a stabbing that left a young woman unconscious.
Qingqing Rao, 29, is in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in Kithira Road, Dagenham, on Monday, February 13.
Ms Rao, a business analyst in the City, had gotten off a bus at Castle Green Park by the A13 shortly before she was attacked just before 10pm.
She suffered multiple stab wounds and serious head injuries.
Qingqing's bag was later found nearby in Goresbrook Road, and police are trying to establish if anything is missing.
A 29-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man were arrested on the afternoon of Thursday, February 23, on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery.
They remain in custody at an east London police station.
Detectives are still appealing for two women who helped paramedics to contact them, as well as anyone else who has information about what happened.
