After the travel disruption caused by Storm Doris yesterday, much of the region is, thankfully, returning to normal today.

Here is everything you need to know about traffic, travel and weather in east London, Enfield and Epping Forest this morning:

Travel

There are severe delays across the entire Jubilee line this morning and no service at all between Stanmore and Wembley Park due to a person on the track.

London Underground tickets will instead be accepted on DLR services and across local bus routes.

There is a good service on all other lines on the network.

Traffic

Laundry Lane in Nazeing is closed in both directions between Saint Leonards Road and Waltham Road after a tree fell onto the road at around 6am this morning.

Traffic is also heavy in the usual hotspots, including southbound on the M11 between Junction 5 (Loughton) and Junction 4 (North Circular) and on the A12 approaching Redbridge Roundabout.

Weather

Fortunately, today is likely to be much less windy than yesterday, with wind speeds nowhere near the 50mph we saw during Storm Doris.

Sunshine can be expected for most of the day, however, it is likely to be chilly, with temperatures reaching highs of just 8 Celsius this afternoon.
