A mini Tate Modern has arrived at Redbridge Central Library in Clements Road, Ilford.

Until Tuesday, March 2, Tight Modern, which has also been dubbed the world’s smallest pop-up gallery, will showcase an array of work by a range of unknown and marginalised artists from across the UK.

The exhibition will feature small-scale works of art measuring at 13cm by 18cm in portrait format, with the original being shown through photography or computer generated images.

Tight Modern was created by Creative Future, a charity based in Brighton that provides training and mentoring for talented writers and artists who lack opportunities due to mental health issues, disability, identity, health or social circumstances.

There will also be a voting booth at the exhibition for people to pick their favourite pieces.
