THE GUARDIAN has teamed up with Waltham Forest Council to award the best designed buildings in the borough.
Over 20 nominations for the Waltham Forest Design Awards 2017 will be inspected by a panel of judges on Friday, March 10.
Judges include Steve Walker of the Royal Institute of British Architects and Ruth Richards of Royal Town Planning Institute.
The competition is open to new buildings, restorations, extensions, street improvements and public art installations.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in the coming months.
