A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a gun.
The boy, 15, was arrested in Stanley Road off Lea Bridge Road in Leyton at around 4.30pm on Thursday, March 2.
Police were called to Abbotts Park off Leyton High Road to reports of a gang of youths with a gun.
Skeltons Lane off Leyton High Road was cordoned off by police and sniffer dogs searched the road.
The boy has been bailed until a date in April, pending further enquiries.
The gun has not been recovered.
