Central line users certainly won’t be getting that Friday feeling this morning, with severe delays across the length of the line.
Here is everything you need to know about traffic, travel and weather in east London, Enfield and Epping Forest this morning:
Travel
There are severe delays across the length of the Central line this morning and no service at all between Ealing Broadway and Marble Arch after an empty train derailed earlier this morning.
Tickets will be accepted on London Buses, Chiltern Railways and Great Western Railway via any reasonable route.
There is also no service on the Bakerloo line between Paddington and Queens Park due to a faulty train at Kilburn Park.
Traffic
Traffic is queueing on the A406 North Circular westbound between Waterworks Corner in Woodford and the Crooked Billet in Walthamstow.
Normal hotspots are also seeing heavy traffic, including is also heavy on the A12 into town between Beehive Lane and Redbridge Roundabout, as well as the M11 between Loughton and Woodford.
Weather
After the bright sunshine and mild temperatures yesterday, today is set to be a drabber affair, with overcast conditions persisting throughout the day.
Temperatures will stay reasonably warm however, with highs of around 12 degrees Celsius expected this afternoon.
