A police car and a van were called to Wanstead High Street this afternoon after reports of a man being drunk and disorderly.
A MAN stopped for anti-social behaviour turned out to be breaching bail.
Police officers were patrolling Wanstead High Street yesterday (Thursday, March 16) in an effort to crack down on anti-social behaviour.
They spotted a man who was acting suspiciously. When they stopped to talk to him, they found he was in breach of bail conditions from Snaresbrook Crown Court and was arrested on a warrant.
The Metropolitan Police refused to reveal what charges he was in court over.
