A 19-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound in Ilford Lane last night. He died an hour later.
A man has died after being gunned down in Ilford.
Officers were called to reports of the shooting at the Ilford Lane junction with Bedford Road, Ilford, at 10.10pm on Tuesday (March 21).
Emergency services found the 19-year-old victim unconscious with a gunshot wound, the Metropolitan Police said.
Despite the efforts of paramedics to save him, he died shortly before 11.30pm.
No arrests have been made and officers remained at the scene, police said.
The victim's next of kin have yet to be informed.
