National Theatre chooses Act 2 Academy, from Highams Park, to perform new play
A COMMUNITY theatre group has been chosen to stage a new play by the world-famous National Theatre.
Act 2 Academy, from Highams Park, is staging The Monstrum at Stratford East Theatre on March 29.
The National Theatre’s initiative Connections will see youth theatre groups performing new plays up and down the country.
Act 2 Academy director Amanda Goodwin said: “This play has been an emotional challenge for my young cast and I am immensely proud of their hard work and dedication to this play.”
