Building revamp
The Silverthorn Clinic is outdated and over used, but a solution lies nearby.
North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) own Naseberry Court in Larkshall Road, about 400m from Highams Park station.
It’s been closed for some years and NELFT want to sell it for residential development.
Better that this site be used to re-provide all the facilities from Silverthorn in new, modern buildings, with plenty of indoor waiting space.
There’s also three hours free parking in Tesco(without the need to shop there).
As Barts Health, the Waltham Forest Clinical Commissioning Group, NELFT and Waltham Forest Council are working together to plan services in the area consequent on rebuilding Whipps Cross hospital, the replacement of Silverthorn on the Naseberry Court site is surely is something that can be accelerated to help alleviate the stresses and strains on the current facilities.
