A PHOTO of the terrorist who killed a policeman and three others in central London has been released by police.

The Metropolitan Police’s counter terrorism command investigating the attack in Westminster this week (March 22) have issued a photo of the dead man responsible, Khalid Masood.

Officers want to hear from anyone who knew Masood, who was also known as Adrian Elms and Adrian Russell Ajao.

They also want to establish if he was acting alone or had been encouraged by others to carry out the attack.

The Met’s acting deputy commissioner Mark Rowley said: “We named the dead terrorist as Khalid Masood, and as I said, our investigation focuses on understanding his motivation, preparation and his associates.

"Whilst there is no evidence of further threats you will understand our determination to find out if he either:

"At this point I want to appeal specifically to the public.

"We remain keen to hear from anyone who knew Khalid Masood well, understands who his associates were, and can provide us with information about places he has recently visited

"There might well be people out there who did have concerns about Masood but weren't sure or didn't feel comfortable for whatever reason in passing information to us.”

Ten people are currently being held by police after a series of raids across the country, including ones in Forest Gate and Stratford.

There have been reports Masood attended Al-Tawhid mosque in High Road, Leyton, but these have not yet been confirmed.

Anyone with any information that could help police should call 0800 789 321.
