Don’t be alarmed- panto season is not back just yet.

Kenneth More Theatre is presenting Cinderella, but rather than a production filled with the usual characters such as the camp Dame and slapstick Buttons, the Vienna Festival Ballet will be interpreting the classic fairy tale through dance.

The story still sticks to the original rags-to-riches tale of the mistreated young girl who lives a tough life with her ugly stepsisters, but finds her happy ending after a prince, who is her one true love, tracks her down with a glass slipper that only fits on her feet.

The music in the show is filled with a collection of 19th century Italian composer Rossini’s most famous operatic works and has been specially arranged for the Vienna Festival Ballet.
