A SHED was “completely” destroyed in a fire which damaged which two homes.
The fire broke out at a home in Chestnut Avenue, Forest Gate, at about 3.30am today (April 6).
Crews arrived to find a shed engulfed in flames as the blaze threatened further harm to ground floor, first floor and roof of the house.
A neighbouring house also suffered fire damage to its ground floor.
Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters and officers had the fire under control by 5am.
Crews from Stratford, Leytonstone, Plaistow and Leyton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
