North London indie rockers BLESS. will be launching their latest single, Easy Lover, next month before performing in support of Frank Turner.

The band will bring their distinct sound, inspired by a range of influences including soul, ska, 60s rock and psychedelia, to The Rocksteady in Kingsland Road on May 6 for the single release.

The following week they will perform at The Roundhouse in Chalk Farm Road, Camden, May 13. They will be supporting British folk singer Frank Turner, who began his career in the post-hardcore punk band Million Dead in the early 2000s.

Born and bred in North London BLESS. is made up of Joei Silvester, vocals and rhythm guitarist; Kieran Kearns, keyboard and vocals; Cesar ‘Rizo’ Restrepo, lead guitar; Panashe Nyandoro, bass; and Moses Elliot, drums.

Since their formation in September 2015, the band have toured the UK and France on numerous occasions in support of their debut EP Music Comes First.

For indie enthusiasts Joei jokingly describes their music: “It’s like if Dr Feelgood and the Dexys Midnight Runners had a fight, which was referred by The Specials and judged by The Clash.”
