A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot as he sat in a parked car.
The victim, 20, remains in a critical condition in hospital after the incident in Lincoln Road, Enfield.
The incident happened at around 9.45pm on Wednesday, April 5, in the carpark of the Travel Lodge Hotel.
On Wednesday, April 12, a man, 20, was arrested and remains in custody at a police station.
Detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command initially investigated the shooting but on Tuesday the investigation was passed to detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC).
Detective Chief Inspector Andrew Packer said: "The victim of this shooting currently remains in hospital in a critical condition and it is of paramount importance that anyone who witnessed or saw anything that night comes forward and speaks to us.
“This is a really busy area, if you were in Lincoln Road near to Great Cambridge Road last Wednesday and remember anything no matter how small now is the time to say something."
