This pig would not let a gang of police officers or a double decker bus stop him in his bid for freedom.
Traffic came to a standstill and passers-by watched in awe as a pig ran across the A12 near Fairlop Waters Country Park on Wednesday afternoon (April 12).
Caught on video by the Met Police’s road and transport team the pig makes a desperate dash from Hainault Road as two police officers try to stop him from running across the dual carriageway.
But unable to contain him, the pig starts fiercely chasing after a jogger in a high-vis jacket, who then darts to safety.

A Met Police spokesman added: “We were called at 12.45pm on April 12 to the A12 in Redbridge near the junction with Hainault Road to reports of a pig on the loose.
“Officers attended the scene and the pig was safely recaptured and returned to the nearby land it had escaped from.”
