A BUSY McDonalds has created more than 20 new jobs after “significant investment.”
The McDonalds branch in High Bridge retail park, Waltham Abbey, have installed six self service kiosks and have introduced table service.
The changes are in place to allow customers to order food in their own time and not have “the stress of finding somewhere to sit when carrying food.”
McDonalds say customer feedback has so far been positive.
If the changes are successful, further changes could allow customers to customise their burgers and meals.
John Loizou, who owns five branches, said: “Having seen these changes in another of my restaurants, I have been overwhelmed with the positive response from my customers and employees.
“I am dedicated to invest in Waltham Abbey and in the development of my employees.
“I am confident that this new look restaurant at the High Bridge retail park will be a welcome addition to the area and I am looking forward to welcoming our customers in to show off the changes.”
