A vulnerable pensioner who suffers from anxiety and memory loss has gone missing.

Police are desperate to find 66-year-old Sandra Afxentiou, who was last seen leaving her home in Goodmayes at 2.45pm yesterday (April 25).

Ms Afxentiou requires regular medication and suffers from memory loss, which can often leave her feeling anxious and frightened.

She is white, 4ft 7in, with shoulder length blonde hair, and was last seen wearing a blue jumper and blue jeans.

DI Kevan Hall of the Met Police’s east area safeguarding hub said: “We are asking for help in locating Sandra Afxentiou - she is a very vulnerable lady and it is imperative that we find her as quickly as possible and return her to the safety of her home.

"Please contact us if you have any information as to her whereabouts.”
