People who want to learn more about the ancient practice of scything are invited to attend workshops led by an expert.
The classes will be held at Waterworks Nature Reserve in Lammas Road, Leyton, over the coming weeks.
The aim of the sessions is to prepare people for the annual community haystack festival which will take place in Walthamstow Marshes in June.
Children and adults who are beginners can attend a session at 10am on Tuesday, May 16. A session for those who have tried their hand at scything before will take place at 10am on Tuesday, May 23.
Both classes will be taught by scything expert Ida Fabrizio.
Prices are £25 for adults and £15 for children and pensioners.
