Passers-by were stunned when they saw this man 12 foot up a lamppost on a quiet Sunday evening.
The aspiring urban climber was spotted up a pole near the war memorial in Wanstead High Street at around 7pm yesterday (May 14).
A pub-goer at The Cuckfield snapped him while she was having a drink, as others watched on in disbelief.
Commenting on social media, one confused neighbour asked whether the man was making an attempt at parkour or whether he was stuck and in need of the fire brigade.
