A GIRL who was in the backseat of her dad's car when it was stolen has been found.

Beatrice Felicia was found by her grandmother while walking in Leyton High Road at 9pm, after having gone missing from the area at 6.30pm.

Her dad met with an unknown man at the Jet Petrol Station in Leyton High Road to try and sell his car - but the man jumped it and drove away.

No arrests have been made.

The man is described as Asian, in his 30s, with short, dark hair and a dark beard.

He was wearing a dark jacket with white fur lining on the hood and green Nike TN trainers.

At this stage it is not known how and where Beatrice got out of the car, nor the exact location where she was seen by her grandmother as neither speak English.

The car has still not been ound and people are urged to be on the lookout for the VW Passat, registration NG11 BMZ.
