A PENSIONER who sexually assaulted a vulnerable woman at his house has been jailed for three years.
Alan Smith, 78, of Milton Court, Cheshunt, was also placed on the sex offenders register for life at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday, May 12.

Police were called to the address at 2.50pm the same day and arrested him.
Smith admitted sexually assaulting the woman when interviewed by police.
He pleaded guilty to one count of sexual activity with a vulnerable adult at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, March 13.
DC Christopher Longhurst said: “Smith has shown no remorse for his actions and I hope his sentence brings some closure to the victim and her family.”
