A CHARITY are appealing for funding to carry on delivering their “crucial free projects.”

Voluntary Action Epping Forest (VAEF) is an organisation that helps and advises the community on day to day problems.

The group help people with gardening, home safety, benefits advice and offer friendship to elderly people living on their own.

They need financial support to carry on running and to launch their latest project, which will offer DIY help to people unable to do it on their own.

The charity say they have helped people get a disabled badge, help people make friends and help a lady sort out her benefit payments.

They will put together an information day in Epping High Street on June 19, which will explain their new chargeable services.
