A MAN has died after being struck by a Central Line train.
Police, ambulances, and the fire brigade swarmed Woodford Tube Station just after 11am to reports of a "person on the track".
A British Transport Police spokesman confirmed the man died just under an hour later.

They said: "A man has sadly died after he was struck by an eastbound Central Line train at Woodford station this morning.
"Work is now underway to identify the man and inform his family.
"This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

The Central Line was suspended between Leytonstone and Loughton, but still ran trains on the Hainault branch.
