Your vote, my thanks
I would like to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to the 2,275 residents in Epping and Theydon Bois who voted for me in the recent county council elections.
I would also like to pass on the thanks of my Liberal Democrat colleagues who were candidates in the rest of Epping Forest - Joseph Barkham (Buckhurst Hill and Loughton South), Joanne Alexander-Sefre (Chigwell and Loughton Broadway), Hayden Rissbrook (Loughton Central), Arnold Verrall (North Weald and Nazeing), Brian Surtees (Ongar and Rural) and Tim Vaughan (Waltham Abbey).
It has been a privilege to represent Epping & Theydon Bois on Essex County Council over the past four years and I wish my successor well.
I remain one of Epping’s district councillors and look forward to continuing my work for residents.
The Liberal Democrats remain the largest opposition party on Essex County Council and will continue to challenge the Conservative majority when they make decisions against the interests of Essex residents.
Jon Whitehouse Liberal Democrat district councillor Epping Hemnall
