A FASHION student’s work has earned her an internship with a top designer.
Annie Sophocleous, of Woodford Green, wowed judges at the University of Hertfordshire fashion show on May 16 and went on to win the Ted Baker Designer of the Year Award.
The 25-year-old’s snow queen inspired collection will see her add two week’s work experience with the designer to her CV.
She said: “I’m overwhelmed I’ve won this award – I can’t believe it.
“I’m really looking forward to my internship and can’t wait to start.”
Ted Baker’s Catherine Scorey said Annie’s collection was “beautifully put together”.
Her university programme leader Tony Rosella added: “We particularly want to congratulate our winners, who have been recognised by some of the most high-profile names in the industry for their outstanding collections, innovation, and hard work.”
