A MAN has been jailed after he assaulted a police officer called to a domestic disturbance.
Stephen Morrison, 27, who is homeless, was sentenced at Chelmsford Magistrates’ court on Friday, May 26.
He pleaded guilty to 13 offences relating to a disturbance at an address in Mardells, Epping, shortly before 11am on Thursday, May 25.
He was sentenced to 20 weeks for five counts of assault by beating, three counts of assaulting a police officer, three counts of criminal damage and two offences under the Public Order Act.
